DAY 1: GORILLA TRACKING
\nAfter breakfast at the lodge, you will be briefed by our tour guide representative who will then drive you to the park headquarters at Kinigi for a short briefing about gorilla tracking. After the briefing you will follow the guide to the jungle forest to begin the activity possibly the most interesting activity done at the park. Getting to the gorillas is unpredictable as it can take a half or full day so a reasonable degree of fitness is called for. You need to come with tracking gears such as strong shoes, trousers non flash cameras, rain gear, strong boots among others together with bottled water and packed food. They are excellent fan to watch as they are playing in fruitful trees. The activity is usually takes between 1-6 hours and this usually depends on their movement. You will be allowed to spend only one hour with them. You will also view several other primates in Nyugwe including Hoest Monkey, Rwenzori colobus, silver monkey, owl faced monkey and the red tailed monkey. Return to the lodge for lunch then in the evening go for a guided nature walk in the forest, giving you an opportunity to view a variety of animals and several species of birds.
