After a brief lecture by one of our lecturers, visit the Nairobi National Museum Galleries, Botanical Garden and the Snake Park (reptiles, fish, and insects) followed by a City tour. Return to a City Hotel for dinner bed and breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 2:- NAIROBI-\u00a0 After breakfast at the hotel,\u00a0 Drive to Moi Educational Centre, which is one of the Primary\u00a0 Schools within the Urban Center and you will have the whole day to<br \/>\ninteract with the teachers and students before driving back to the hotel to<br \/>\nfreshen up for dinner. Lunch at a city restaurant Drive to the Carnivore restaurant for dinner. This restaurant has become quite\u00a0 famous for its combination of tasty cuisine with emphasis on barbecue meat in pleasant surroundings. Apart from beef, pork and other traditional<br \/>\nmeats, you will have the opportunity to taste a variety of\u00a0 game meat including giraffe, zebra and crocodile. Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club or Panafric Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 3:- GIACHUKI PRIMARY SCHOOL- &#8211; Breakfast will be served at your hotel.<br \/>\nDrive north through Thika Town to Gatanga Division. Here you will visit a local<br \/>\nPrimary School called Giachuki Primary School all day where you will be able<br \/>\nto interact with both teachers and students. You will also be able to visit a near<br \/>\nby local Giachuki Harambee Secondary School which is a self help product of<br \/>\nGiachuki Primary School. Drive back to Thika for a quick lunch at Blue Post Hotel overlooking Chania and Thika rivers.\u00a0 Visit Thika School for the Blind less than a kilometer away from Blue Post Hotel. Spend the rest of the afternoon interacting with teachers, School administration<br \/>\nand students.<br \/>\nProceed to Nairobi arriving at your hotel . Freshen up and proceed for dinner bed and cocktails at the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 4\u2013 NAIROBI &#8211; \u2013Breakfast at the hotel then proceed to Highridge Teachers Training College- This is one of the Institutions where teachers are trained before being deployed to various parts of the country to teach. &#8211;\u00a0 Lunch at African Heritage Restaurant. Then later drive to\u00a0 Kenyatta University and visit the School of Humanities and Social Sciences then later the School of Education and Human Resources. Proceed for dinner at the Safari Park Hotel \u2013 nyama choma\u00a0 ranch with entertainment by the safari cats\u00a0 and acrobats. Overnight at a Nairobi hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Day 5-NAIROBI- After a hearty continental breakfast at your hotel, you will visit International School of Kenya whose educational system is based on the American System of Education. It is a high cost school for the elite.<br \/>\nReturn to your hotel. Dinner at Minar Restaurant. Overnight on Bed and Breakfast your Nairobi hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Day 6:\u2013 NAIROBI- &#8211; Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After your breakfast you will depart and drive to Karen and visit Nyumbani Children\u2019s Home, another home for destitute and Aids Orphaned children. Lunch at a Karen restaurant After lunch proceed to Thogoto home for the aged and experience how the elderly\u00a0 people in the society are taken care of away from their families. Later on drive back to your hotel to freshen up for dinner. Dinner at Alan Bistro\u2019s Restaurant. Overnight at your Nairobi hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 7:\u2013 UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI- Breakfast at the hotel.Visit Institute of African studies. Visit institute of Diplomacy and International Studies. Lunch break at Chez l\u2019ami Restaurant.\u00a0 Visit Kenya Institute of Special Education at Kasarani- an institution that offers training to teachers on the teaching methods to children with disabilities. Proceed to Utalii Hotel followed by overnight at a Nairobi hotel on bed and breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 8:\u2013 SAMBURU &#8211; After breakfast you set off, arriving at your lodge at lunchtime. After a siesta, spend the rest of the afternoon game viewing. The areas around the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River is home to the rare and beautiful species of Northern Kenya such as Grevy&#8217;s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk gazelle and the Somali ostrich. Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, leopard and the more common Savannah game are also abundant here. A brief discussion will be held with the lodges resident naturalist. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 9:\u2013 SAMBURU &#8211; Full day in Samburu with two game drives &#8211; in the early morning and again in the late afternoon. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 10: &#8211; SWEETWATERS &#8211; After breakfast leave for Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp, set on a 22,000-acre rhino sanctuary in The Sweetwaters sanctuary. Apart from offering an excellent opportunity to get close to the endangered black rhino, Sweetwaters is home to the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and plenty of other Savannah game and endangered chimpanzee. Afternoon spent game viewing. Those interested in experiencing the bush at night have the opportunity at Sweetwaters, as it is one of the few places in Kenya offering night game viewing at an extra charge.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 11: -LAKE NAKURU &#8211; After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed on a game drive along the lakeshores. This is home to thousands of both Greater and lesser flamingos, both Black and White rhinos, Rothschild giraffe and many others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>Day 12 &#8211; MASAI MARA-After breakfast depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Drive South along the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok climbing the Western Wall entering Hemingway\u2019s country &#8220;Serengeti Plains&#8221;. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite\/ Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>Day 13: &#8211; MASAI MARA- Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in search of elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plain game. While in Mara you will have the opportunity to visit the local Masai homestead and leisurely interact with the villagers at an extra cost. All meals and overnight at the campsite\/Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 14:- NAIROBI &#8211; MOMBASA-Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the Lodge for a brunch before returning to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to either the Railway Station for your overnight train to Mombasa where dinner bed and breakfast awaits you or the airport for your flight to Mombasa.\u00a0 If you choose a flight, you will arrive there in an hours time and enjoy the afternoon at your own leisure. Dinner bed and breakfast at the beach hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 15:\u2013 MOMBASA COASTAL TOWN-Arrive at the station in Mombasa,ou will be met and transferd to Mombasa Serena in the northern shores of the Indian Ocean. In the afternoon take a city tour to the Old Town including Fort Jesus, which is 400 years old. Dinner and overnight at the beach hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 16:- MOMBASA-You will have the whole day at the coast at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the beach hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 17:\u2013 MOMBASA \u2013 DOLPHIN DHOW-\u00a0 You will be picked from your hotel and drive to Shimoni for a full day dhow trip to spot the dolphins. It is in their coral garden where you will snorkel and marvel at the prolific marine life as you leisurely sail in tranquil silence listening out for the dolphin whistles. This will also include traditional lunch, unlimited sodas, beer, mineral water and wine, tea, coffee and doughnuts and snorkeling equipment. Dinner and overnight at the beach hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 18:\u2013 MOMBASA- You will have the whole day at leisure at the beach with a variety of beach activities to indulge in; be it motor sports, beach volleyball or football, a lazy afternoon serenaded with cocktails, a visit to the health spa among other things. A guided snorkling experience awaits you to explore the vast, beautiful marine life.
