7 DAYS SAMBURU\/ LAKE NAKURU\/ MAASAI MARA
\nDay-1 Samburu: Head north to the semi arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive will let you see the giraffe, Gravy\u2019s Zebra, Gerenuk Beisa Orynx and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and overnight along the banks of Uaso Nyiro River at one of the luxurious camps\/lodge.<\/p>\n
Day-2 Samburu: Full day in Samburu with two game drives in the morning and again in the afternoon. All meals and overnight in the camp\/lodge.<\/p>\n
Day-3 Mt.Kenya: Drive through vast coffee and tea plantations towards the Mount Kenya region. Lunch will be at the base hotel from which you will be transferred to your tree lodge. Enjoy the unique and splendid experience of all night game watching at a tree lodge surrounded by forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick.<\/p>\n
Day-4 Nakuru: After breakfast, transfer to base hotel for onward journey to Nakuru through the fertile highlands. Arrive in time for lunch and relax bracing yourself for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park provides a sanctuary for the rhino. Lake Nakuru has always been considered a heaven for birds especially the flamingoes both grater and lesser that cover the lake creating a pink film of colour. Here you will also find lions, leopards, buffaloes and other Savannah and forest game which make game viewing worthwhile. A resident naturalist can be arranged on request. Dinner and overnight at a lodge\/ camp<\/p>\n
Day-5 Maasai Mara: Continue across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Encounter zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes and if lucky the cheetah and the shy leopard. Arrive in time for lunch and after relaxing for a while, proceed for a game drive. Return to the lodge for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp.<\/p>\n
Day-6 Maasai Mara: Full day in Maasai Mara with two game drives in the morning and one again late in the afternoon. All meals and overnight in the camp\/lodge.<\/p>\n
