LAKE NAKURU- Day Trip.
You will be picked from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 am and drive through the Kikuyu highlands .
Commence your drive down the escarpment after stopping briefly at view point to see the Rift Valley at one glance. Arrive in Nakuru and proceed for a game drive until lunch hour. Lunch at either Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Afternoon, proceed on another game drive until 4:30 pm when you will commence your journey back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.
4 DAYS /3 NIGHTS- MAASAI MARA
Day 1- Lake Nakuru- You will depart from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru with a brief stop over at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. This is where the Rift Valley is well defined as an unspoilt paradise. The Rift Valley stretches from the Dead Sea in the Middle East and winds up in Zimbabwe in Africa. Lake Nakuru National Park is situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of the beautiful Rift Valley Lakes, also home to thousands of flamingos and other species of birds and animals. You will be arriving in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon of game watching. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 2: – Masai Mara. After breakfast commence your safari at 8:00 a.m. across the floor of the Great Rift Valley, the longest rift in the crust of the earth, through Narok town to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at either Mara Sarova lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge. You will spend two days in this natural paradise amongst the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, elephant, gazelle and many others. You will encounter prides of lion resting in the shade of the acacia trees or lying low in the grass in wait for their next prey. There is a good chance of spotting the cheetah and if you are lucky enough – the shy leopard. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: – Masai Mara. After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive in Masai Mara. Mid morning at leisure followed by lunch. After lunch enjoy a siesta before embarking on a late afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is famous for having the highest concentration of plains’ game together with their assorted predators. It has the largest population to be seen anywhere in Kenya. The reserve is also famed for having the “Big Five” thus Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant among other game. Return for dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: – Nairobi. After breakfast return to Nairobi and after lunch and last minute shopping you will be transfered to the airport for your outbound flight.
7 DAYS/ 6 NIGHTS- AMBOSELI- NAIVASHA- MAASAI MARA
Day 1: – Nairobi / Amboseli-On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and commence your safari and driving through the Masai Country via Nairobi to Amboseli National Park arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon game viewing amongst herds of zebra, impala, Thompson gazelle, elephants, giraffe and many other species of Savannah game. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 2: – Amboseli- Full day in Amboseli with two game viewing in the morning and again in the late afternoon, with a magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: – Lake Naivasha- After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha, one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley Lakes. Lake Naivasha is famous for its remarkable variety of bird life and its hippo colonies. You will take a boat ride to t Crescent Island, one of the few places in Africa where you can wonder on foot among zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and giraffe. All meals and overnight at Lake Naivasha Lodge.
Day 4: – Lake Nakuru- After breakfast leave Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru National park. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Lake Nakuru is a renowned for its large variety of world famous birds the Flamingos. It is possible to see the other game such as Rhino, Water bucks, Impala, Buffalo and Gazelle in the surrounding gardens. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 5: – Masai Mara- After breakfast depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Drive south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok climbing the Western Wall entering Hemingway’s country “Serengeti Plains”. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa lodge. After lunch, proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: – Masai Mara- Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in search of elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plains game. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 7: – Nairobi- After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Transfer to the airport to catch your outbound flight back home.
8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS- MOUNTAIN LODGE- SAMBURU- MARA
Day 1 – Nairobi- Upon arrival you will be met and assisted by African Discoveries representative and transfered to Nairobi Serena Hotel booked on dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2 – Mountain Lodge Tree lodge- After breakfast commence your safari with a pleasant drive north to Mt. Kenya region arriving in time for your Lunch. The lodge is situated deep in the Mt. Kenya forest, where forest animals visit the water hole and saltlick throughout the day and night ensuring you many exciting moments. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge tree Hotel. (NB: Children under 7 years are not allowed in the tree hotel)
Day 3 – Samburu National Reserve- Depart to Samburu National Reserve after breakfast- Warm towel reception and a cocktail welcome drink on arrival followed by a sumptuous lunch. Siesta followed by afternoon game viewing. Return for a sundowner at the lodge with stunning scenery followed by, dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 4- Samburu National Reserve- Bush breakfast at crocodile point with sparkling wine, Visit a Samburu village followed by an exciting game drive. Return for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, take a siesta before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 5: – Lake Nakuru National Park-In the morning after your breakfast, continue to your lodge situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of the beautiful Rift Valley Lakes, also home to thousands of flamingos and other species of birds and animals. After a game drive enjoy your afternoon tea/coffee. In the evening, it s time for a well deserved shower and a refreshing drink before a sumptuous dinner. The optional dawn hot air balloon safari will give you a bird’s eye view of the Mara plains and the Mara and Talek rivers before landing to a champagne breakfast. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 8 – Nairobi- After an early morning game drive before breakfast you will be driven back to the lodge and thereafter, return to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon. Proceed to the airport to catch your outbound flight back home.
12 DAYS/ 11 NIGHTS- ABERDARES- SAMBURU- SWEETWATERS
Day 1:- Nairobi- On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Nairobi Safari Club Hotel on bed and breakfast. (B&B)
Day 2:- Amboseli – After your morning breakfast you will depart Nairobi and proceed to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. Amboseli National Park located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro lays some 240-km (149 miles) Southeast of Nairobi. The snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds, dominates every aspect of Amboseli, and forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife with its population of lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other Savannah game. A photographer’s paradise. Afternoon game viewing. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena.
Day 3:- Amboseli – Full day in Amboseli with two games viewing in the morning and again in the late afternoon. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena.
Day 4:– Aberdares – After breakfast continue to Aberdares National Park. Via Nairobi arriving in good time for lunch at the Aberdares Country Club. After lunch you will be transferred to the Ark for Dinner and Overnight. The transfer to the Ark will be done by the Club’s vehicle. The lodge is situated deep in the forest, throughout the day and night forest animals visit the water hole and saltlick, ensuring you many exciting moments. (NB: Children under 7 years are not allowed in the tree hotel). Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bed.
Day 5:- Samburu – After breakfast leave Nairobi and proceed to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your campsite. After siesta, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this unique wildlife paradise. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena.
Day 6:- Samburu – Full day in Samburu with two game viewing in the morning and again in the afternoon. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and overnight. at Samburu Serena.
Day 7:- Samburu-After breakfast, take another full day in Samburu with full day game drive with a picnic lunch. Return for dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena.
Day 8:-Sweetwaters -After breakfast leave for Sweetwaters Tented Camp, set on a 22,000-acre rhino sanctuary in the Sweetwaters sanctuary. Apart from offering an excellent opportunity to get close to the endangered black rhino, Sweetwaters is home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and plenty of other Savannah game and endangered chimpanzee. Afternoon spent game viewing. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Simba Lodge situated outside the sanctuary.
Day 9:- Lake Baringo- After breakfast drive to Lake Baringo via Thompson’s falls arriving at Lake Baringo Campsite in time for your lunch. Afternoon at leisure or take a boat ride. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight at Lake Baringo Country Club.
Day 10:- Lake Baringo / Lake Bogoria-After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria National Reserve for a morning game drive and explore on foot this natural lake land viewing the numerous Flamingos, the hot geysers and hot springs. Caution must be taken while walking near the Hot Springs, as they are super hot. Enjoy picnic lunch at Lake Bogoria. After lunch and afternoon game viewing, return to Lake Baringo Country Club for dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 11:- Lake Nakuru National Park- In the morning continue to your cottage (banda) situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru, an alkaline lake on the bed of the Great Rift Valley, has earned its fame as the home of the greatest bird spectacle in the world – a myriad of more than a million pink flamingos, which seasonally use its water to feed on the abundant algae which thrive in its warm waters. Lake Nakuru has a great deal to offer beside its magnificent bird life. Here you will also find lions, leopards, buffaloes, and other Savannah and forest game, which make game viewing worth while. After lunch and siesta, enjoy an afternoon of game watching. *Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Bed at Sarova Lion Hill.
Day 12:-Nairobi- After breakfast drive slowly to Nairobi across the Rift Valley in time for your outbound flight back home

Hells Gate National Park in Naivasha is famous for its birds of prey, unique flora that thrives on volcanic soil, gorges, cliffs, caves and towers. The setting is one of intense, recent volcanic activity where hot springs, steam jets and fumaroles are common. All meals and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Day 7 – Lake Nakuru National Park – After breakfast continue to Lake Nakuru National Park – situated on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of the beautiful Rift Valley Lakes, also home to thousands of flamingos and other species of birds and animals. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon of game watching. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 8 – Samburu National Reserve- After breakfast, depart and drive across the Equator Northwards to Samburu National Reserve arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch followed by a late afternoon game drive. Dinner, bed and breakfast at Larsens Camp.
Day 9 – Samburu National Reserve – Enjoy a full day with an early morning and late afternoon game watching at Samburu National Reserve. The area around the life giving Uaso Nyiro River is home to the rare and beautiful species of Northern Kenya such as Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, gazelle and the Somali Ostrich. Elephant, buffalo, lion leopard, and other game are also abundant. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Bed at the Larsens Camp.
Day 10 – Sweetwaters- After breakfast leave for Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp, set on a 22,000-acre rhino sanctuary in The Sweetwaters sanctuary. Day 13 – Aberdare – Full day spend at the Treetops with all day at leisure and all meals and overnight at The Ark
Day 14 – Nairobi- After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch (own account). Transfer to the airport to catch your outbound flight depending on your flight departure time.

Day 1:-Nairobi On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transfer to Nairobi Safari Club on bed and breakfast.

Day 6:-Nairobi- Leave Naivasha early in the morning and drive to Nairobi arriving late morning hours. Check in at Nairobi Safari Club booked on bed and breakfast. Lunch and dinner on your own. The rest of the day at leisure relaxing either in a heated swimming pool, gym, or steam bath.
Day 7:-Amboseli – Leave Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the Masai Country to Amboseli National Park arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon game viewing amongst herds of zebra, impala, Thompson gazelle, elephants, giraffe and many other species of Savannah game. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 8:-Amboseli- Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive with a magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 9:- Ngorongoro Crater- After breakfast drive to Namanga, Kenya-Tanzanai border.You will be picked up at Namanga frontier – Kenya and Tanzania Border and after formalities you will be driven to Arusha. Lunch at the Arusha Hotel as well as a tour briefing. Proceed to Ngorongoro with stop over at the Great Rift Valley wall for a magnificent view of Manyara lake on the way to Ngorongoro, another stop over at the Ngorongoro crater south view point for picture taking, then proceed to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge at the rim of the crater for your evening stay, dinner and overnight.
Day 10:- Ngorongoro Crater- After Break fast your drive guide will pick you together with packed Lunch and proceed to the Ngorongoro crater floor for a full day game drive – lunch will be at the picnic site, afternoon and late afternoon game drive will follow, late evening you will drive back to your lodge for your dinner and overnight.
Day 11:- Arusha- Zanzibar- After you break fast you will bid farewell to the Ngorongoro crater and drive to Arusha with stop over at Masai Village/Market – Lunch at Meserani Snake Farm – then drive to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Accomodation on full board at the Breezes Beach Hotel
