SPORTS SAFARIS

Day 1-Nairobi- Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport , African Discoveries representative will meet and transfer you to Windsor Golf and Country Club where you will be booked on bed and breakfast.

Day 2- Windsor Golf Club- This golf and country Club is without doubt the most spectacular and ideal course on which to play your first round of golf. The 18-hole championship course was designed to international standards by Tom Macauley.  Situated in well maintained playing surface in nearly 600 acres of indigenous forest, the golf course lies only on 200 acres. It has a total length of 7,400 yards, a water surrounded, 18th green and several other spectacular holes.

A heated swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, a driving range, bird watching and a health club are all on offer to keep you occupied before and after golfing. All meals and accommodation at the Windsor Golf and Country Club.

Day 3- Sigona Golf Club- Only 40 minutes from your hotel lies the origins of great Kenyan golfers. With its lush green well manicured lawns will offer you an energized golfing experience. All meals and accommodation at Sigona Golf Club.

Day 4- Aberdares Country Club- The 2 hour drive will see you through vast pineapple, sisal, tea and coffee plantations. You will pass through the pleasant Nyeri town where the founding father of The Scout Movement, Lord Baden-Powell, spent his last days. This was between 1938-1941. On arrival a sumptuous lunch buffet awaits you. The club has a challenging 9-hole golf course with some of the holes commanding wonderful views of Mt. Kenya . It is set on a 1,000 acre property. Two tennis courts, a swimming pool, front stream are there to keep you busy. Cottage style accommodation awaits you after a bus golfing day.

Day 5- The Ark- A visit to the Ark in the Aberdare Country Club, a well appointed forest lodge overlooking a waterhole. Frequent animals include the rhino, elephant, lion and even the rare bongo. This view is also possible during the night in the Arks floodlights. All meals and accommodation in The Ark.

Day 6- Nairobi- After breakfast you will embark on 2 hour drive to Safari Park Hotel located in the outskirts of Nairobi City . Enjoy lunch in one of the gourmet restaurants. You are later scheduled for an afternoon of golfing at Muthaiga Golf Club which is situated about 10 minutes from your hotel. This is the home of Kenya golf champions and it’s an 18-hole course. Return to the hotel on bed and breakfast.

Day 7-Departure- After breakfast and last minute shopping, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
