Sirimon Track 6 Days/ 5 nights- This climb is gradual and can be undertaken by most people in reasonably good physical condition. It is one of the finest approaches to the peak area offering some of the best views of the mountain peaks.

Day 1-Base Hotel: Morning transfer from Nairobi to the base hotel via the fertile lands of the windward side of Mt Kenya. If time allows pass by the famous Karatina Market and watch first hand how the Kikuyu people go about their business. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2- Judmair Camp 3,300 m {10824 ft} – Spend the morning preparing to climb the highest Mountain in Kenya. After lunch at the Lodge you will be driven to the Sirimon Gate and then to Redhead at 3,300m. Take an easy walk in the afternoon to help you acclimatize. Overnight at Judmaier Camp at an altitude of 3,300m in tents.

Day 3-Liki North Valley 3,940m {12,923 ft} – Ascend the Sirimon Track to Liki North Valley and camp overnight in this little beautiful valley below the subsidiary peaks of Tereri and Sandeyo.

Day 4- Mackinder Valley 4,250 m {13,940 ft} – Climb out of the North Valley and into the Makinder Valley one of the broadest Valleys on the Mountain consisting of much giant groundsel. Camp at the head of Makinder Valley just below the main peaks of Batian and Nelion.

Day 5-Point Lenana 4,985 m {16,351 ft} – Alpine ascent to the third highest peak, Pt. Lenana, an estimated four hours of stiff walking to the summit. After viewing the beautiful scenarios and the rising sun, descend to Mintos Hut and circumnavigate to the Gorges Valley, the Temple and several Lakes. Descend the mountain to Bandas Lodge for overnight at 3,040 meters altitude.

Day 6- Nairobi – After breakfast, descend the mountain to Chogoria Forest Station for your transfer back to Nairobi.
